I am interested in getting a new smoker. I currently own three grills/smoker and I am looking at the Brinkman Vertical Smoker. Does anyone know anything about this smoker? I know the Weber Bullet is awesome but I can purchase the Brinkman for 75.00. Anyone have any thoughts? _________________ Own a Char-Grill with SFB, a 22" Weber, a 18" Weber. I own 3 Weber Bullets and love the heck out of them. My only experience with a Brinkman is the ECB (El Cheapo Brinkman).
The ECB I had to sit at its side and fool with the charcaol every 15 - 20 minutes or the fire would go out. Peopl have devised modes for the ECB to cook like the WSM.
The more expensive Brinkman I have no idea on how it cooks. I've heard that some people can turn out some awesome 'q' with it.
I do recommend that you buy the best cooker you can afford. All have their good and bad points. Before you buy, check several dealers to see what they are selling and recommending.
One of the ILBBS supporters is the Ace of Hearts BBQ Specialties. They make The Good One Smoker. From all reports its a great not to expensive smoker. Check them out. _________________ PCMCIA - People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms. – Unknown |
