The world went mad at that point, dozens of people barrelling this way and that. He slipped, went over and took Rose who was still holding his hand with him.

| "Oh, sh--" Mickey ducked, dodging madly and swerving. He winced as one rioter smacked him in the back, throwing him forwards violently. But his slight trip didn't stop him from moving and he slowly made his way through of the crowd, hoping Rise and the Doctor had been as successful. |

"Oi, thats my foot... Rose.. now hang on a minute, she's with me an... hello whats that then?" A quarted of the crowd was suddenly engulfed in the light of a transmat beam and the last thing the Doctor remembered seeing was Rose's anquished expression as he fell through into nothingness.
And then there was nothing else.. for a while anyway. |

| Mickey snapped his head round in shock and squinted. "Rose?!" he shouted over the uproar in pure confusion, a dazed expression on his face. He grunted as he was pushed forward once more, his arms flailing as he was pushed a third time and sent off his feet. "Oi!" he shouted angrily, trying to pick himself up. |
