So, have you guys seen the new X-men movie yet? What do you think? I saw it on friday when it came out and...I shall...uhhh... wait to tell you what i think so as not to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it. If you haven't seen it yet, a word of advice. Expect the completely unexpected. Oh and stay untill the end of the credits. There is an extra little something you are going to want to see!!!

Unspoiler version: Go see it! NOW! It's awsome!

Spoiler version: The movie just ROCKS! I've seen it twice and i think i'll go again, maybe i'll get the novel too (people say it's even better than the movie). I felt bad for Cyclops getting killed so early into the movie, but he's not a fave of mine, so it didn't really bother me. My favourite scene: 'Ro & Logan crying after the Profesor gets killed. Funniest line: "Grow those back!"

Logan was a bit too much love sick sick puppy, the line "No, not for them, for you" was awfull, and it kinda beat the point of him becoming a leader to the X-men. Then again i hate the whole Logan/Jean pairing so i am a little (okay a LOT) biased. Halle Berry was perefct as Storm this time around! We really see 'Roro evolve and taking charge! Then again she is my favourite character. Too little Rolo in it though. Callysto getting fried got everyone laughing. The guy playing Angel was also very good, just too little of him. Kitty also rocked and her Juggernaut chase was so cool! Not too happy with what they did with Rogue, but the cure seems to not be permanent. They also filmed a scene with her and her mother taht never made it into the movie which might have made more sense. Oh and Beast totally stole the show, he felt so real, you just couldn't keep your eyes off him.

Patric Stewart & Ian McKellen were fabulous! I loved the way they ilustreated their relationship and mutual respect. I felt really bad for Mystique getting depowered, but the scene was really good, i loved the way Magneto just left her there. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". Juggernaut was hilarious and evrybody laughed at his "I'm the Juggernaut b****" (if anyone doesn't know the line is from a funny fan made video that is really popular amogst fan comunity, easter egg). Phoenix was scary when she went all crazy, but i'm not fan of her character (biased again). The final battle was so cool! She demolecurized everything! That was a bit too much, but i liked Wolvie having to kill her.

On the downside: waay too short and a lot of scenes were cut or edited to be shorter, it felt rushed. Hopefully the DVD will bring an extended version. They had scenes taht were in teh trailers and not in the movie. The FX was just AWSOME! Golden Gate bridge scene was damn cool.

Like i said: GO SEE THE MOVIE!

Yes, the novel explains a whole lot! It also makes Jean a bit more "human" kinda. She feels remorse over killing Scot and Prof. X. Have you read the other novels based on the movies? I finished the first one last weekend. It of corse was great! I am waiting on getting the second one...hasn't some in the mail yet. In the book Rogue also has a bit more of a part. Which apeased my wrath. LOL.
