| Chris didnt respond to his experiment comment. "Three goind on four meals skipped and dont think you require food? We'll see." Chris left to get some food, see what would happen. She knew where to put it...away from the experimentations he was doing. |

| Chris came back about ten minutes later with a plate of food: corn, potatoes, chicken and a glass of water. Without a word she put it on an empty table and walked back out. |

At first Adam didnt acknowledge the food. Then as the smell began to waft over, his stomach rumbled. After about three minutes he lifted his head and glanced casually at the food tray.
"Dammit..." He muttered, trying to ignore the tantalising smell.
Five minutes was all it took, before he was away from the lab bench and to the table with the food on it.
Chris had been right in her assertions, but Adam didnt necessarily like to be reminded he was still human and thus required sleep and food at regular intervals.
He would have to thank Chris later, without being overly obvious about it. Maybe a tune up of her stereo system? He started on the corn. |

Selene stood in front of trh Genomex building. She exhaled sharply. Her first day of work. They made her, they gave her 'special' abilities, how ironic she came to work for them. Selene looked down at Bast who was siting next to her. She will have trouble explaining her, but Bast was he friend, and tehy went eevrywhere together, especially where she wouldn't stand out too much. A big panther in a government builsing. Definetly doesn't stand out - she thought. "Let's go" she siad tp her friend and made her way to the entrance. She made her way in and shure enough the receptionist moved to stop her.
"Miss what are you doing here? And we have a strict no pets allowed policy" the receptionist said.
"She's not a pet and she will come with me. I work here."
"No she doesn't" the rceptionist replied and pushed the security alarm button. |

Chris smiled when Adam went to the food and turned on her heel. Soon the alarm went off and she ran to find out what was going on.
"What the hell is going on now?" Chris snapped at someone. |

Adam looked up halfway through his meal, considered checking it out - weighing up the pros and cons of such an action. Finally his curiourisity got the better of him. He went to check things out.
Surprise wasnt the word for what he found in reception. |

Adam leaned against the doorframe, arms folded - with a smile on his face.
I cant wait to see Mason's face when he sees that. He thought. He'll probably want the cook to roast it for him
Suddenly a picture of Mason with the panther on a dinner plate came into his head, and he chuckled. |

| Chris raised an eyebrow as she looked at Adam. "What is so amusing?" She had a smile on her face but still kept an eye on Selene, knowing she'd probably take offense easily. |
