In his lab, Adam had finally managed to stop laughing at the image of Eckhart hanging from the light fitting to avoid his 'dinner' - and turned his attention to the newcomer. He didnt know her - going over to the computer and entering Mason's password. It would piss him off when he went over the logsheets, which to be honest was why Adam repeatedly did it despite Breedlove's attempts to alleviate the tension between the two men.
He began to check the personnel database. |

| Two agents walked though the hall. A girl walked between them. They had taser sticks ready to hit her if she hinted at moveing the wrong way. She looked beat to hell, but they hadn't done it to her. Nope...she'd done it to her when her timeing was off when she blewup the garage door. |

Mason Eckhart was always prompt & on time for work. Today was no exception. He parked his car in the usual spot & got off. He wasn't expecting much. Just the usual routine of his everyday position as head of security.
Of course, there was always Adam Kane. Always a thorn on his side. Always gloating about some new experiment or even new discovery he had found. "Perhaps I should give him a copy of The Genetic Code & tell the poor soul the DNA code was broke long ago." Eckhart once said to Breedlove. Breedlove would only chuckle.
"I'm serious. The man always thinks he's on the brink of something new. Pity it's already been discovered & thank God too." Eckhart would sneer. "And here I thought the two of you would hit it off when you first came through that door." Breedlove said with a smile. "You give him too much slack, Paul. That's going to be your downfall one of these days, and Genomex's." Eckhart warned.
OOC: This is pre-Incident X, yes? And I couldn't remember the name of the DNA book as well as the scientists who broke the code. Dunce me.

Adam reread the assignment getting more furious each time. It was obviously something he was never meant to find out about - hence the levels of security and encryption.
"You've gone too damn far Mason!" He said angrily. He stormed out of his office to where a nervous Genomex security guard stood at attention.
Without hesitating he went to the elevator, ignoring the man - and punched the up button. As soon as it arrived he went to the upper levels, to Breedlove's office.
"Dammit Paul he's got people SPYING on me now!!" He all but yelled as he walked into the office without knocking. |

| "Come, I'm sure Mr. Eckhart will want to see you." Chris noticed the one covered in blood. Project 598765 aka Tasha. Saying nothing she guided Selene to the office and when she did she heard ranting...the one and only Adam. "Wait here," she said to Selene and went inside. "Whos doing what now?" Of course she had heard, you didnt need feral hearing to know what Adam just said. |
