A guard stood aside to let Eckhart into his office. "Mornin' sir." the guard said. But Eckhart didn't reply. "I'll need to replace him." Eckhart said to himself. "Can't have a serious security guard greeting me every morning."
Just as Eckhart was putting his coat up & resting his other stuff on his desk, the phone in his office buzzed. It was an angry voice. Eckhart knew who it was. "Excellent, now what?' Eckhart thought. "I'm never going to get a moment's peace with this man around."

Adam snorted, still not quite calmed down.

| Chris cocked her head to the side slightly. Spy? Who was it and why did they want to spy on Adam? Was it Selene? She began to run things through her head, knowing that Eckhart obviously didnt trust Adam anymore because of something...intruiging. |

"Well?" Demanded Adam. "Cat got your tongue? Where is our latest little recruit?" Asked Adam, sarcastically.
"Adam please..." Placated Breedlove. "Lets wait until Mason gets here and he can explain everything Im sure."
Adam was clearly not as certain Mason Eckhart could 'explain things' but he respected Paul Breedlove so he said no more. |

| Rarely had Chris seen Adam so mad, making her worry some. "Has Selene done something?" She finally spoke up. Chris would stay and listen as long as Eckhart didn't try to stick her in a lab for more testing, not that again. |

| Chris decided to make an exit before Eckhart came, chickening out at staying. "Umm I'll just leave you guys to chat. I got an appointment with a doctor." She hurriedly left. |
