Set before Adam Kane left Genomex.
Genomex is undergoing massive development, its latest addition is super prodigy Adam Kane. But just what is Genomex's true purpose? Why does it's funding come from the government? And what part does the secretative Mason Eckhart play?
And what are the Projects?

ok, just knida a FYI, the Projects:
BACKGROUND: When Genomex saw they had the power to 'Play God' they started a group of projects. Top Secert. Testing to see if they could create a perfect human, one that would never get sick or hurt, or have flaws. But they failed. Most projects got sick easyer and died faster. Then Adam Kane went in to help them. The Projects became a more stable but was not the perfect humans they wanted. Becomeing fasanated by what they was doing he too made a project. Then in about year two (as will all New Mutants) their powers started to show up. When that happened most became unstable agian but a few didn't. The 4 (out of 10) that stayed stable was trianed to use there powers so that Genomex could better study what was happening to the real humans,(new Mutants). They would now be used as experments. Test rats.
Count Tasha in the rp. and Alex (If someone wants to play hm they can)
out of four projects 3 are taken, 598765 (Tasha), 36543 (alex), ##### (Chris) |

| Rain felt the plane land by the bumping and things moving, practically crashing into her. Damn that hurt! Hearing a car or something, no it was one of those people that take all the cargo off the plane. Rain waited until the door opened and people were not looking to slip out of the plane. Now where she was, she had no idea but she knew it was the US just by looking outside seeing the people. Now she needed a car to get away from here, problem was that at airports or private air strips rarely had cars but they did have people working here....Rain stayed out of sight and knocked out one of the workers, taking his clothes and changing into them, along with some cash. Lucky for her he had car keys and she hurried out without looking suspicious to the garage where vehicles of all kinds were parked. Pressing the unlock button, Rain found the one she was looking for and drove off, to where....good question. She definitely needed to change her bandages, which she had taken off the other day so they wouldnt get infected by the old ones just staying there. At least she was free and home....somewhat. |

Adam Kane was working late in the lab as usual, on something very intricate and delicate and ... well.. difficult. It required maximum concentration - the slightest deviation and it would all be for nothing.
He leaned over his work - almost finished - the phone rang making him jump. Angrily he threw the thing out of the door, as he had his staff earlier that day.
"Gway leave me alone!" He growled at the device. |

| Chris was walking by and saw out of the corner of her eye something flying at her. She caught it quickly. She may not have feral speed but she was still fast. Putting the phone down she went to where it had come from. "A little anger there at the phone?" |

Adam looked up, his concentration ruined yet again.
"Whoever you are you probably dont have clearance to be in here, so kindly LEAVE." He thundered, in a crabby mood.
He got like that when he missed three meals in a row. |

Rain got herself a hotel, forging the signature easily. She was glad the name could have been female as well as male, making it easier to forge.
In the room she collapsed on the bed, feeling very sick. She took off the shirt to look at her burns and gun shot wound; both were red with irritation and infection already. "Damn it, this is just great," she growled. Rain got some hydrogen peroxide, cottonballs, gauze and ace bandages and went to te bathroom, cleaning them which hurt like hell to put it mildly. After she cleaned her wounds she put on the wraps then fell back on the bed, falling asleep instantly. |
