"WHy the hell did you crash us into that car anyways?" Kendra exclaimed. "That is gonna be hurting me in the morning." She meant the whiplash she was going to have.
Brennan dove and rolled into the phased floor, crashing into the other two. "Sorry but wasnt going to let you leave without me now." |

Twenty armed men were waiting at the exit of the tunnel where the three mutants had escaped into.
“This is getting really old,” Jesse muttered before massing out just in time to cover the two from the dodge of bullets fired at them. He groaned in agony as his wound started to bleed.

“Adam!” Emma hissed as she quickly hopped in passenger’s seat. “What do you think you’re doing?” She almost had no time left to fasten her seatbelt as the scientist sped away with the stolen car. “This is wrong!” Great, a perfect time to be the voice of conscience in the group, Emma, considering the fact that you just brainwashed around twenty police officers about five minutes ago. |

| "Damn." Shealimar looked around nervously. "We need to crash this tunnel behind us!" Granted they would probably be walking right into their arms on the other side, but it was worth a try. "Bren, see if you can do something about taht she said while pulling both behind a corner "You're bleeding" she could smell it rather than see it, but she knew Jesse was bleeding. She ripped the bottom part of her blouse and tied it around Jesse's wound. |

Oh great. He was the only plan left. This was sure to draw attention but they had to do something but was this the wisest idea?

Two bullets grazed his right arm and he hissed in pain. "Thats it," he growled and hit the people with bolts. The next thing he did was collapse the tunnels.
"Lead the way oh feral one," he said with sarcasm. |

It was at that moment that Lexa's mobile rang, rather insistantly, although slightly damaged in the fight.
Using the hands free set (safety first children, yeah right!) Adam waited for Lexa to pick up her phone, cursing himself for not thinking of it sooner.
"Cmon, Cmon, Lexa. Don't be stupid every day." He muttered. |
