Adam Kane made a lot of connections while working for the GSA, and now that he’s the leader of Mutant X, a trusted friend from Adam’s past has contacted him seeking refuge for both himself and his daughter. The man’s intentions however, are not quite as honorable as they seem.

| Chelsea tossed her hair behind her, it kept falling in her face while she was writing. A woman infront of her was crying, her make-up smearing on her face. What she was saying was confidential to just the both of them. While the woman practically blabbed in between sobs Chelsea nodded and answered while writing. It wasnt even 12:30 and already she had five people. Long day much? |

| Shalimar was lookinga t the screen in front of her showing a large group of people, cheeright, and maing a lot of noise. TV cameras were evrywhere waiting for the Mayor's speach. Something didn't feel right she noted. Security was tight, why would anyone break into teh museum today? It was the first question that poped into her mind when Adam presented the mision, but he just got a tip off one of his sources, saying nothing more. Now they were hovering above the large building in the cloaked Helix. |

| Hayden was back at the Sanctuary. Over half the team had been sent out on a mission and the rest were left back here for various reasons. She grabbed her laptop and started to surf the net. If she couldn’t get out, she might as well jack in to see what’s going on outside. |

Monitoring communications, Adam flinched - from Lexa he would expect it, but Shalimar? Maybe he had let things go a bit far, but as far as this mission was concerned - they knew what he knew.
If it had been ANYONE else other then the person who had contacted him for this mission, he would have told them to stuff it, to go to hell and to drop dead - to name but a few of Brennan's favourite terminology.
But friendship could only go quite so far, and Adam's patience and sense of duty to past friends/comrades was wearing dangerously thin.... |

| Eric was watching the exchange on one of the local news channels. He wanted things to go right, and the last thing he needed was to loose Adam’s trust this early in the game. It was a legitimate tip, someone was definitely in the museum. All he needed now was for it to work toward his advantage. |
