| no way jesse and lexa are destined 2 be together. emma and jesses relation ship was totaly different they were more like brother and sister. ok a strage brother and sister but i have made my piont. |

| Nothing against any Lexa fans, but he was more upset about Emma's death than anything that's happened to Lexa. I believe Emma was his true love. |

| Well I haven’t really seen any Lexa episodes so it’s hard to compare, but from the given situation I would have to say that Jesse loved Emma more. He had known her longer, been there for her as she developed her powers, allowed her to help him with his new abilities, and the list goes on. With Lexa I think it’s more of an attraction that grew because Jesse was starting to feel left out, since Shal and Bren were obviously hooking up. With no one else to cling to he found Lexa. But if you watched S1 and S2 very closely, hints were given that he really did have a thing for Emma, and that it wasn’t just a silly infatuation. He loved her, that’s what I saw. |

Well I'm really biased, but I always thought Jesse had a thing for Emma right from the beginning that eventually grew into love. I guess as a shipper especially of a non canon couple, you might always read a little too much in to what you see and interpret things differently.
From the very first episode, one of my favourite moments is when, Adam wants her to go with Jesse, Shalimar and him. Emma turns around to look at Jess and he gives her this quick nod of reassurance. It's like a trust between the two already, although this is somewhat diminished with Emma calling him a freak and running away and all. But like I said probably reading way too much into the scene as a J/E shipper! 
I don't think it can be denied that he cared about her a lot, even if it you just saw it, as being close friends. But if was he was harbouring feelings for her, there were a lot of things holding him back. The main one being, a sense of duty to Mutant X, especially to Adam, to put the team first, ahead of his own personal feelings. He realised that things could never go back to the way things were before, whatever happened because it wasn't some crush he had, he loved her. But at the back of his mind, he thought there would always be a time to tell her...
And Emma? Well as a telempath, I'm sure she had at least some idea of he felt. At the beginning she was still rather taken with Brennan, but as she got over that there was Caleb and Kyle and she became really cautious with relationships. And while she really withdrew after Tyler died, at the same she grew closer to Jesse because he was the only one to really support her. Despite how insensitive she was when Amanda died. I think she may have been conflicted, about a relationship with Jesse because he's very much a "wear his heart on his sleeve" guy and without meaning to, probably broadcasting his feelings (whatever they may be) to her constantly. On the other hand, that's a part of who he is and why they're close friends in the first place.
Another thing to consider is that out of all Jesse's possible love interests (listed in the first post anyway), Emma's the one we know most about, the one that had the most screentime and presumably spent the most time with Jesse in the three seasons. With that I guess it's easier for me to think they were intectually and emotionally matched.

Kinda had a feeling that was you.  You just can never fit what you want into those little essays; just when you get it like you want it you have to trim it like an overgrown hedge. When you're finished you're left with something rather ugly compared to the way it was before. |

lol Am I that obvious? I know exactly what you mean! *sighs* Sometimes I just wish I could leave it the way it was, but then I don't think anyone would read it, as it would span pages and pages. Another thing is, for me at least it never seems as well written on paper / monitor as it does it my head.
It's getting a little off topic now...um Jesse & Emma forever? |

lexa is jesses true love. emma and jesse were nothing but close freinds you guys are seeing love were there isnt any. jesse and emma were fond of each outher but they were like brother and sister.
lexa and jesse are destined 2 be 2gether he loves her and she loves him even if she dosent always show it. she only pretands 2 be mean 2 try and stop her from getting emotinaly attached but she wasent expecting 2 find true love with jesse. they are made 4 each other. |
