The ringing of the phone awoke Bri from a deep sleep. She sleepily looked at the dial of her clock: 11 pm. Picking up the phone, she answered quietly. "Firenze residence."
"Is this Briony Firenze?" the harried voice asked.
"Yes."
"There's been an accident. Your parents are here in the emergency ward. Please come down immediately," the woman continued.
"What? Where?" Bri was instantly awake. "I'll be there in about 20 minutes." Bri quickly dressed and headed out to the garage where she got into her trusy Neon. It was too far to walk to the hospital from her parent's house. During the drive, she tried to keep herself calm about what could have happened to her parents, but she wasn't too successful. She turned the last corner into the hospital lot with a spray of gravel, and parked in the first available spot beside a Ferrari. Normally she didn't take notice of other vehicles, but something in her told her to look at the driver. Lana! from the diner |

Unbeknownst to Lana and Jordan, they were followed by the woman in the diner. She stood there, eyes glowing slightly as she headed the way she sensed Micheal's scent from. "Time to pay a little visit.." She muttured.
Alex sighed as he came into the hospital, blinking as he should have never ran all the way there but he was a cheetah feral/thermal elemental. "Great..just great.." He muttured pulling out his cellphone as it vibrated indicating he just recieved and text message from Leanne and blinked, reading it. "Now she tells me.." He said lowly. |

Briony nodded. "Me too. Give me a call sometime," she said as she turned back to walk into the emergency room.
Walking up to the desk, she asked. "I'm Briony Firenze. I was told my parents Brion and Melony Firenze were brought here." The woman seemed very frazzled. She looked up the names on the computer. "How do you spell that?"
"F-i-r-e-n-z-e." Bri said patiently.
"Ah, here they are. Brion Firenze is in room 10. Melony Firenze is in the surgical suite."
Bri gasped slightly, but she turned and headed to room 10 quickly. The doctor was in there talking to her father. "Excuse me, I'm his daughter. Can you tell me anything?" She searched the doctor's face for some answers. She barely gave the other young girl a look, assuming her to be one of the hospital staff. |
