Okay here we go... setting the scene for the rpg:
New Mutants have been semi exposed, and are feared even more so by an ever increasing panicked population. Although the GSA is defunct, a new Genetics Control Department has been introduced led by the RPG 'baddies'.
Michael is Adam's son, and found a collection of recordings made by his father whilst he was imprisoned and eventually killed by the Dominion, following his release of a stabilising agent into the atmosphere, thus stabilising the majority of all New Mutants with a few exceptions to the rule.
Mutant X have since died/been killed and Michael tried to turn his back on things, but when a New Mutant tracked him down looking for his help having found out about his connection to Adam Kane and everything, he relents. He finds himself in the middle of the Underground, a series of adhoc Safehouses which up until now were seperate and mistrusting of each other and anyone else outside. Michael has managed to pull the safehouses together in a semi network, and eventually formed his 'team' - New Mutants he had helped, or who had come looking for him, or Mutant X.
Now Michael and his team battle to keep New Mutants from the clutches of the government, and the general public who seek to imprison or even kill them for being different. But thats not all, as there are some New Mutants out there - descended from the Strand, who want to take what they feel is theirs by right.
Has the world gone mad? Probably - but one thing is clear. Michael, his team and the New Mutants of the Underground must try and discern enemy from friend, persecutor from ally and still manage to stay one step ahead of the game.
Will they succeed?
Time will tell, it always does...

The young man paced up and down as he listened to the information being given to him by Underground Alpha.
As the call continued, he was well aware of someone else out there trying to trace it, but confident in his own abilities to know that he would be long gone before that happened.
"Alright, Lana. You did your best. I'll check in again with you later. Thanks for your work today." He answered finally.

Elektra walked the streets, looking for away to help those in need. She was confidente enough that the team with the help of Michael will put an end to this, that civilization would return back to normal...

It was pure and simple chaos. Everywhere she turned; went; she could hear the anguish cries of people. This was the stuff she read about in those old books. World War Two was centuries ago. People should have learned from that mistake, not make a newer version of it.
Gibson got up on her feet. She had enough. This had to stop. But she was only one person. She needed help, guidance. She needed someone strong. |

"I swear.. If there's one thing I have to check out in the safehouse it's the hydro.." Leanne's voiced sounded from a room in a safehouse. "Everything good over there, Jordan..?" She called out to her teammate
Alex sat in the chair running checks on the safehouse he and Lana were in. Staring at the computer screen he gave a yawn. "I've been up for only two hours and I'm still tired." He muttured to himself. |

"S'what you get for staying up late," Lana smirked. She turned back to Adam. "No problemo." She tried to keep the disappointment out of her voice. She had not been able to find everything Michael had asked her to do. She hated not getting everything done as was asked, it bugged her a lot. She figured it was from her mother. It had its benefits just the disappointment of not getting everything done annoyed her.
Telsia was out shopping, having nothing else better to do at the moment. She didnt know where the others were and didnt care too much as rude as that sounded. She didnt trust anyone right now, not that she ever did too much. With the way things are these days you couldnt trust anyone. Families turned one another in, neighbors turned on each other, it was hell to say the least. It was better to keep your head down. |
