"La Reppublica" has presented once again the plans of Mr. Michail Gorbachev, former Soviet President, for a special railway to be built, running from beyond the Polar Circle, to Turkey, exactly according to the path of the former "Iron Clad" of Europe. The idea, which is some years old, has new strength, as railways are one of the main joints of Europe.
