[From BBC World News]

The Bible has been translated into text message-speak in Australia to allow its lessons to be disseminated more easily.

The entire Bible would be more than 30,000 messages

"In da Bginnin God cre8d da heavens & da earth," it begins.

The entire 31,173 verses can be downloaded for free and sent by mobile phone, said a spokesman for The Bible Society in Australia, Michael Chant.

"The old days when the Bible was only available within a sombre black cover with a cross on it are long gone," Mr Chant said.

Um, well i guess the Bible in text form is ok....i personally just love reading my real Bible ...I enjoy holding it in my hands rather then reading it in text messages.
What about you guys? Even if you don't read the Bible i am sure you have an opinion on it.....

I have read the Bible...once. But i do believe in God, and i think the text messages are a good idea, because it would spread the the word of God as it is, and not as someone (like a priest, pick which religion you want) would interpret it. Because so many people interpret the bible in so many ways. Let's stop that. Let's believe that God meant exactly what He said. And let's believe that some people mean what they say, and there's not another hidden truth behind their words. Let's trust each other a bit more. The world would be a better place.

What is the Zend Optimizer?

The Zend Optimizer is one of the most popular PHP plugins for performance-improvement, and has been available without charge, since the early days of PHP 4. It improves performance by scanning PHP's intermediate code and passing it through multiple Optimization Passes to replace inefficient code patterns with more efficient code blocks. The replaced code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster.

In addition to improving performance, the Zend Optimizer also enables PHP to transparently load files encoded by the Zend Guard.

The Zend Optimizer is a free product available for download from Zend Technologies. Zend Technologies also developed the PHP scripting engine, known as the Zend Engine.
