"Very funny Lex," Brennan gave her a look. "It's better than yours at least."
"Uh huh," Lexa crossed her arms over her chest and looked right back at him, electricity could almost be seen between their stares. |

“Uh oh, they’re at it again,” Jesse commented, shaking his head. He smiled at Emma and offered his hand. “Well Miss Fortune Teller, shall we?”
Emma raised an eyebrow but linked her arm with the molecular. “I’m a gypsy, not a fortune teller.”
Meanwhile back in Genomex Eckart and his men have some plans as well.
“I still do not see the necessity of wearing these filthy rags just to capture Mutant X,” came the cold, irritated voice of Mason Eckart from his office.
“I think you look pretty good in a Frankenstein costume,” answered Doctor Harrisson.
“Dr. Harrison I’d much appreciate it if you don’t speak another word until we get to the area,” came Eckart’s cold reply. “Otherwise I’d have to make your mummy costume permanent for you.” |

“Okay, enough banter or we’ll never get there,” Jesse laughed. He started to pulling Emma and headed for the garage. |
