Adam took a hit, but gave back twice what he got, successfully stunning the man he'd been fighting. There would be more on the way, he knew.
And there were.
They only one floor up, and he knew they'd have the exits covered.
"Shalimar, if you're still here, get out by the window! They've covered the stairs and exits!" He yelled, before cannoning into yet anouther pursuer.
"Any time you're ready!!" He called out to her.
"You! You're wanted just as much as the brat is. Hold onto this one, I'm going for the girl!" Cried a particularly burly one. |

The door burst open and the minion came into the room. He searched the room quickly "She's gone!" he yelled left not masking his annoyance.
A lone figure dropped from the cieling. She had listened and made shure they were gone. They were searching for her who knows where. She was safe. For the moment. |

Which was more than could be said for Adam at the moment.
Held securely by two men, he could only grin with relief when the other returned empty handed.

"Sorry, I've a prior engagement." And he kneed him in the groin.
Taking his chance, he hightailed it out of the nearest exit, via the window - sending shattered glass flying around him as he hit the ground with a muffled thump. |

| Shalimar relaxed as the agents clared away and chased after the other man. She grabbed the food still left by the door. After sniffing it carefully she decided to eat it. |

Score one for the bad guys thought Adam, ruefully.
He decided to take up vigil in the side alley to keep watch for a fleeing Shalimar or more agents to show up.
Gathering his coat to him, he shivered and decided this was gonna be an even longer night then he's originally thought |

Shalimar finished her meal. Deciding she needed to find a better shelter she climbed out the window. She landed with a thud on the pavement. Sensing someone she decided to take cover behind some trashbins and cardboard boxes.
