The Doctor faked a haughty pose, and seemed about to retort with some incredibly witty reply.
Instead he exhaled sharply and shook his head.
"Bugger it." He said and went to see about the components.
"Remember, Stay inside the TARDIS!" He called back over his shoulder as he strode out of sight.
As he walked off, he mused the concept over. Rose staying put. Stationary Rose. Rose not in trouble.
He shook his head again.
"Naaah"
And he texted her a reminder. |

The Doctor was just procuring and bartering with a trader for a particular piece of equipment when the two aliens who he'd encoutered earlier came up.
"There you are, its rude to just up and leave without saying goodbye properly you know" Growled one.
The Doctor sighed.
"Do yourself, me and the entire Universe a big favour and bugger off. Now." Said the Doctor, clearly tired and bored of the fellow already. He turned back to the trader.
"What happens if I dont?" Demanded the alien, ears back and blaster in hand.
"Oh here we go again.." Muttered the Doctor annoyed now. |

The Doctor walked back to the TARDIS with a split lip and a slight limp.
But triumphantly holding the components he'd gone to get.
"Ello, Rose. Enjoying the scenery?" He asked her breezily. |

"What? Did I forget something?" He checked his packages carefully.
"Nope all here. Comin' inside then?" He inquired taking out the key. He missed the lock twice, cursed lightly and then opened the TARDIS door. He disappeared inside. |

The Doctor woke up to find himself lying back on a medical bunk, watching Rose Tyler looking for something to attend to his injuries with increasing frustration as nothing was labelled appropriately.
He had to admit it was amusing.
Very amusing in fact.
Actually it wasnt, he just felt that way, which meant that somehow a toxin must've infiltrated his system - never a good idea.
He continued to watch his companion, trying to gauge when would be the maximum amusing time to point out the dermal regenerator.
Finally it seemed to get to that point, and he leaned forward to indicate the device...and fell of the bed with a thump.
