"Yeah right - no trapping innocents in the Tunnel of Love Captain!" Called the Doctor, and from the tone of his voice he was clearly referring to Rose Tyler as one of those 'innocents'.
He grinned inanely and turned back to Tegan, sobering up almost instantly.
"Well Tegan Tonka.... hows life been treating you?" He asked her, suddenly arkward. |

He grinned when she didnt respond to his obvious mispronouncation of her surname.
"Nothing much. You know me - visit a moon, save the universe.. go out to lunch, save the universe. Think theres a pattern developing?" He grinned.
"Growing your hair again? I always liked it short." He observed. |

"So where do you want to go?" Jack asked Rose as they walked along the prom.
"Who is she?" Rose frowned to herself. "The Doctor's never mentioned a Teagan."
"How about the fair over their?" Jack pointed trying to steer the conversation away from the girl that had suddenly appeared at the TARDIS door.
"Why didn't the Doctor tell me about her? How many more has he had?" Rose was ignoring Jack. He gave in and ignored her back allowing Rose to talk to herself. |

| Tegan's hand went up to her hair, self-concious under the Doctor's scrutiny. "Yeah, well. I outgrew the Peter Pan stage a while ago. Being head stewardess, I needed to look a little more the part," she dropped her hands back to her side. "I must say it was a bit of a shock seeing the TARDIS again after all this time. HOw long have those two been with you?" |

"I'm going back," said Rose turning once they'd reached the end of the prom.
"Rose, I don't think that's a good idea." Jack said grabbing her wrist.
"But she's in there with my Doctor. Heaven knows what they're doing. For all we know they could be... dancing!"
Jack held Rose still, not allowing her to move.
"The Doctor will not be dancing with that woman. Trust me. Let's leave them be and go back in an hour or so." Jack said firmly but gently.
"No," Rose pulled her hand free of Jack and started running back towards the TARDIS.
"Rose!" Jack sighed and began to sprint after her. |

| "Ah Rose is somewhat.... tempremental. You'd know why if you met her mother, trust me. Tegan and I met when she decided to hitch a lift to Heathrow Airport via the TARDIS. She stuck around and helped out a bit, before catching her flight." He answered clearly. |
