The figure was pulled into the light, and Shalimar gasped.
"Adam!"
"Yes, explanations later - right now I have to get you out of here. What're you doing here anyway?" He hurried them along, working out door access codes as they ran towards one of the rear exit corridors.
"We came looking for Emma - "
"Yes, yes Emma. I know she's alive, I've been looking for her too. Now you two blundering in have made me have to move my plans forward." He didnt sound at all pleased.
Jesse spoke for the first time during their flight.
"What the hell do you think you were doing!" He yelled at Adam, grabbing him by his collar and pushing him up against the wall.
"Not now, Jesse! Anger is good, but not right this second!" Said Adam struggling to get away from the Molecular.
Part of the shirt ripped away revealing extensive burn scars which still looked tender.
"Adam... what the hell is this?!"
"None of your damn business" Muttered Adam, flinching when Jesse touched him.
"These look infected." Said Jesse matter of factly.
"Right, well you're coming with us then Adam." Said Shalimar.
"Yeah, we'll work out how to get to Emma later." Agreed Jesse.
But Adam shook his head.
"It took me months to get in here. They'll beef up security. You two, out now. I'll contact you later." Argued Adam as they arrived at the hatch.
Jesse looked at Shalimar.
