This feels like old times Adam and I’m sorry I’ve been mad at you; I was just hurt when you said I couldn’t stay. But it means a lot to me that you called me today.” |

Sam frowned. She didn't mean to be intimidating or mean or anything, she was just trying to ease the nervousness she was feeling because of the mission. Being a precog she knew something very wrong was about to happen soon, and it scares the hell out of her. She made a mental note to talk to Kaelyn later about that little incident; the last thing she needed was to be with uncomfortable with someone while they're on the mission.
Cyan turned to the new comer and grinned. "Ah, so we're not all roses here, it seems." She grinned and extended her arm. "Cyan," she said brightly. |

| Cyan glanced at Telsia but said nothing. Instead, she looked around and grinned. "I hope we get to leave soon. I can't wait to get out of the city. It's rather boring here." She was trying to be bubbly in front of everyone, but she too had her own doubts whether her decision was the right one. She mentally banged her head on the wall for being way too impulsive. |

There might be a feral around trying to mark his spot. I surely wont mind it if im the only one. Well maybe once a month I would have to leave for a week or so. Too much estrogen is not good in one place at the same time. And once one of you starts PMSing the rest are sure to follow. No offence or anything." He looked around. "Sorry to burst your bubble," Zack chuckled as he walked in. "Sorry I'm late. The people at work would not let me go or leave me alone," he shook his head. "So what did I miss besides the women beating up on the guys?"
Telsia had to keep herself from falling over. Now there were two really hot guys around. She'd have to contain herself and was glad she had self restraint.
Faith lost all the air in her lungs. Anymore guys coming in cause I dont think I could handle that! |

| Cyan turned and almost choked out loud at the sight. She let go of Luke’s hand and was completely and utterly speechless for five seconds. This Zack guy looked so much like her favorite band singer, Jason Wade, and she was completely star struck. Regaining her composure (for she wasn’t one to fawn over guys, no matter how hot they were), she smiled her usual bubbly smile as she extended her hand to him. “Cyan,” she introduced herself. “These are Telsia, Faith and Luke. Briony is over the pool, Sam and Kaelyn in the lab. Adam will scan us in a short while, then you can ask him all the questions you want. We need to save Mutant X.” She didn’t know that she was talking too fast. She was nervous and thrilled at the same time. |

“Hey! I wasn’t drooling!” Cyan whined as her face turned red. She bounced behind Faith and hid behind her. She took a quick glance at Zack and blushed again. “Grrr how am I supposed to concentrate on this mission now?”
Sam finished the scan and checked the results. “Clean as ever,” she grinned as she walked out of the lab. “Now that that’s done, I need to do some major apologizing.” She started looking for Kaelyn, trying to sense if she was pissed at her in one way or another. |
