After discovering remus 'furry little problem' the marauders take it upon themselves to help him. But an animagi form can reveal more about you than anything else, so when Sirius form is a dog, similar to the wolf remus becomes the marauders begin to question what it means.

Sirius looked up from the potions homework he was doing and groaned.
"Help me Remus!" He said pleadingly. "Slughorn's set us another difficult one. I'm sure he does it on purpose!" |

Remus heaved an exasperated sigh. "I'm only looking it over mind you!" He said.
He knew it was useless to say anything else, because if he did, then Sirius would turn on those puppy-dog eyes and then he wouldn't be able to get away. He loved Sirius' eyes. He loved Sirius too, but that was beside the point.
There were so many things that he had to hide. He was a werewolf. He was gay. He was half-blood, not pure. |

Peter looked up from his own potions essay which he had yet to start.
"I hate potions too!" He squeaked.

Remus heard this statement but did not agree. If anything, Peter looked more like a rat. And he was more likely to follow the hand that fed him.
"Copy rat more like." Remus muttered, just loud enough for Sirius and James to hear. |

Sirius grinned.
"You can talk, he's not the only one with a 'furry little problem'." Sirius whispered, his yes maintaining contact with Remus own. He loved the amber coloured eyes of his best mate. He longed to be able to stare into them forever, but that might've made his affections obvious. He couldn't help but love what he now saw as his were wolf. |

Please, let him only be happy to oblige with helping you with homework. I wouldn't cope if he was gay and didn't like me... Remus thought to himself. |

He took the offending bit of homework and looked over it.
"Looks fine, you just need to re word the conclution," he said glancing at it. |

"Shh! I'm freak enough without you saying that!" Remus hissed at Sirius as James took his homework. "Speaking of which, my mum's ill, so I'm going to be away at the weekend."
He missed James shooting the other two a significant look. He didn;t know it, but the other's had nearly made a break-through with there animagus forms. |

"I mean," sirius said, waiting for a moment as a first year passed. "I kinda transfomred the other day. Not a full transformation, but almost. I reackon if I keep practising I might just get here. I was defiantly furry... and James and Peter aren't doing too bad."
It was a downright lie, James was clearly brilliant at transformation, even further ahead of Sirius in the process, but Peter had only just managed to conjour whiskers. |

"Ah..." Sirius bit his lip remembering that they'd agreed not to tell Remus until they were certain they could transform. He glanced at James. "Sorry..."
Sighing, he turned to Remus and gazed at the wonderful brunette.
"It's nothing... we were just... ohhh..." Sirius covered his face.
"They were helping me practise transfiguration! Peter sqeaked quickly. |
