| Actually i think that she was protecting Jesse in No man left behind. Whatever she projected that acred everyone away would have affect Jesse badly even if he knew it was an illusion. |

Lexa or Emma..
My answer is Emma.
With Emma the Mutant X was really team, Brennan, Jesse, and especially Shalimar loved Emma, Emma take cared about others, often risked her own live to shelter Shal, Jes or Brennan. She woried about the team.
Lexa first of all take care about herself. Ofcourse, she help Shal, Jess Bren when they are in trouble.
what i saw Emma really loved Mutant X members, they were her family.
Lexa stands aloof of the team and she not belong to their family. She's only a member of Mutant X. |

My fave character is Emma over Lexa. Why, well here it is.
1. Emma may not have been strong physically but she could give the mental abuse of fighting like the time she sent that slap to Jesse and he felt it.
2. Lexa is a serious character, maybe the first version of Mutant X failed because Lexa was after more power. She wanted to be " Adam Kane" so to speak. And with the Dominion gone thanks to the help of Mutant X she could take her rightful place. I know she's the one who betrays the team in season 4.
3. Emma has the best power { in my opinion } because what ever she thinks can happen. All Lexa does is flash bolts of light that someone with strong sunglasses can be immuned to{ again my opinion please correct me if I'm wrong. Didin't see third season}. And her invisiblity isn't all that great if Ferals can see her.
4. Emma cared about her team members. Lexa doesn't. She didn't care about Jesse when she went and did the deed with Blake.
5. Emma is just cool okay.

I would say Emma...though i still have to see the 3rd season and i don't really know what Lexa is about. But as lls is one of my fav's i would go for Emma  |

| Why are we even discussing who is better? We dont need to convince one another that Emma or Lexa is better than the other. All have their pros and cons just like anyone else. I have my favorite over the two but both are just as good. Emma has her goods and bads while Lexa does as well. We dont need to go about saying whos prettier and whos stupider. If you have nasty comments like that just keep your mouth shut about it! Not everyone wants to listen to the stupid comments of how one thinks Emma or Lexa is stupid! It is insulting and disrespecting the actors and actresses who portray them as well as the character themself. Doing such a thing shows immaturity and nothing better to do than to come up with insults. Showing that you do not have respect for yourself or the people around you. People are doing their job to entertain people. You dont like them tough, dont discuss it somewhere where there are fans here that are loyal and like the actors/actress for who they are as well as the character. I do NOT mean to insult anyone but I've had enough of this pointless disrespectful discussion. Grow up! |

| I have to agree and dissagree with rain. I think we can discuss anythng as along as it doesn't become ugly. However there is a line between the charcaters and the actresses. The actressess are people, with feelings, memories and brains. They should be respected like everyone else. |

It all comes down to motivations and circumstances.
Take Adam Kane. He's kept his fair share of secrets and was even revealed to be helping to cure Mason Eckhart at the end of Season II
In order to understand, the question isnt whats been done, but WHY it was done. Both Emma and Lexa have their own motivations, and if Emma had continued to live on, I think we'd have started to see a bit of Lexa-type reactions and actions in her character. When you're kept from knowing WHY it eventually forces an action that can quite literally by contrary to a personality.
If Emma had lived, I don't think she and Adam would've remained on the same team, I dont think she'd have had a relationship with Jesse but I do think he'd probably have left as well. In short I think Emma would've (whether unknowingly or not) split the team. Not because she's nasty, but because she would've demanded the truth and seen that Adam gave it. Sometimes, knowing everything isnt all its cracked up to be....

Emma accepted Mutant X as her family. She even said in the last episode that they were more family to her then her own family.
Lexa, in my opinion, acceptes Mutant X as a bunch of people she has to work with-colleagues. It's just another job.
Emma might have been able to break the team apart in away, but I think she would have been grounded to do so.
Lexa left Mutant X 1.0 because of all the secrets Adam hid from her. If Emma exposes Adam's secrets it's the best intrest for the team. If Emma didn't make Adam talk they would have been shocked when Mason exposed Adam. Who is itbetter hearing the truth from? The actual person or another person? |
