Emma only said that though because she knew it was dangerous going in, hello she fainted from the emotional hit she got off of the alien. What she simply ment was that she wasn't going to risk the teams life again for something (like that alien) without knowing all the facts. |

Now hold your horses right there. Are we talking about the same Emma here? Because the Emma I know is definitely NOT a control freak. Yes, her powers have evolved and she became more powerful than before, much more powerful than anyone else would have expected, but she DOES NOT take that power for granted, and DOES NOT use it against her team, whom she considered not only colleagues but her family as well. Sure, there are times when she used her powers, like for Jesse in No Man Left Behind, but she had her own reasons for doing so, and she was PROTECTING Jesse, because he was IMPORTANT to her, because she considered him as FAMILY. It's actually amazing for her, and we have to give her due credit, because she didn't turn into another Ashlocke, when she was well aware of the infinite source of psychic power she has in store. She CHOSE not to go against the team because SHE LOVES THEM, and because SHE KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT FROM WHAT IS WRONG. And although she had her suspicions about Adam, and most probably knew the truth about him by that time, she CHOSE not to betray him but stick to the team. She didn't CONTROL the team even if she could. That's telling something about her character.
I think it's really disrespectful to misjudge someone simply because of her abilities, when it was very obvious from the start to the end that she did everything she could for the team, even if it meant dying in the end. Let's respect her and NOT insult her by saying that she was a bully or that she was out to control the team. She would have done that earlier if she could. She chose NOT to. |

| Keep in mind this is coming from first a big fan of Emma and later a big fan of Lexa. Emma and Lexa are both different characters and they both brought different things to Mutant X. To me to seat down and try to figure out why one is better than the other is just hopeless. To me you just won't be able to do it. Also the characters and the actresses deserve more from us then this. Lexa and Emma are both totally amazing in my book. |

| I think Lightheart is right, Emma and Lexa are very different charcaters. But everyone has one favourite. Right now i'm still deciding. |

| I completely agree with Lightheart. I love both characters for diff reasons and to choose one would sound horrible even though I say I love Lexa more I love them both, Shalimar as well. Each one was unique in their own way. |
