All right people i have decided on what the categories for these awards will be. Here goes:
Member of the month
This will be awarded to the best member. In deciding the following factors will be taken into account: quality of posts (arguments brought into discussion, number of posts, feedback and ideas they might come up with, etc.). All members are competing by default.
Best Moderator
This will be awarded to the best moderator. In deciding the following factors will be taken into account: helping other users, management of their own section, etc. All mods are competing by default.
Best joker
This will be awarded to the funniest member of the forum. In deciding the following factors will be taken into account: the jokes and goof offs posted and the number of jokes. All members are competing by default.
RPGer of the month
This will be awarded to the best role-player. In deciding the following factors will be taken into account: the story-lines they have brought into play, the quality of the posts made in the rpg section, interaction with other characters and in case of canon-characters the way the player sticks to essence of the character as presented in the show. All active role-player are competing by default.
Best multimedia
This will be awarded to he member who posts the best artwork (wallpapers, banners, manips) or (music) videos. In deciding the following factors will be taken into account: the quality of the artwork, originality etc. All members who post multimedia in the course of the month are competing by default.
Additional notes: All awards will be in the form of of special ranks the users will have for one month. The judges are the admins: Blackpanther and Psigen. You can not contest the awards. The winners will be posted on the first of each month in this thread.
The contest starts now and the first winners will be posted on the first of November 2005. |

Here are the monthly awards for November! Sorry for being late but its due to a mishap with the ranks. The December awards will probably be posted on Dec 5th.
Aaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd the Member of the month iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssss (I've always wanted to say that) Gelf! For her work on the Hurricane Appeal section, for the wonderful rpging, participation in discussions and the support she's shown us through the past month.
The Best Moderator is Imjuzakyd for all of the wonderful things she's done with the RPG and RR section. You just gotta love her. Its part of the reason why she's Admin now. Note: she will not receive the special Rank designated for the award because she is an admin an people must know that.
The Best Joker is Psigen, because she always finds something funny to say (rubber duckies anyone? that and i haven't finished the wallpaper i was supposed to make for her birthday). The RPGer of the month is Lexa Pierce. Do you really need a reason why?
And last, but not least the Best Multimedia award goes to ohdear for the most wonderful fan art I've ever seen!

Sorry took me a while to post the awards. But enough excuses. Alrightie! Time for the big night… er… day… or whatever.
Member of the Month goes to… *drum roll* bohemianbabe, for being active in alot of the sections, posting her fanfics and participating in discussions, even offering her services in the screencaps area. Round of applause for our former mxangel!
Best Moderator goes to Shalimar, for introducing new topics in the Mutant X section that got a lot of responses!
Best RPG Player goes to Lexa Pierce, and please, don't ask for an explanation as to why. Lol.
Joker of the Month goes to Psigen, for being able to lighten up even the most tense situations there is!
And the Multimedia Award goes to Blackpanther, for the wonderful "Nothing to Fear" wallpaper.
Congratulations to all the winners!
NOTE: The span of time used in deciding the awardees is the whole month of November. Any factors that might have contributed to the winning of a person but not included in that month will be forfeited. Thanks. |

oh yeah i'm on a sugar overdose! i have been since the first time i was allowed to have candy! lol
that and i seriously miss forbes! i mean oltl is fun, but jesse is a better character.....ooh i hope they get me season 2 for christmas.....lol

The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived. And for December’s awards, the winners are... *drum roll*
For the Best Joker Award, it took me a lot of thinking, thinking, and more thinking (until I can no longer think) and still I can’t decide between them. Therefore I’m giving this lovely award to Lexa Pierce and bohemianbabe, for both making the stay in MXLOS enjoyable. ‘nuff said.
For the Best Multimedia Award, let’s give a round of applause to Lexa Pierce! C’mon, admit it everyone, her works are way beyond ordinary. Cheers!
Best RPG Player for December goes to... *drum roll* Blackpanther! For being versatile enough to work on more than two RPGs and still able to bring out the characteristics of each person that she represents.
Best Moderator goes to Psigen! For handling the RPG section, introducing new RPs and for guiding the players in the virtual rps.
And the Member of the Month goes to... *drum roll* Now this is by far the hardest award I had to work on. And after much deliberation, I have come up with a decision. December’s Member of the Month goes to none other than... bohemianbabe! Sure living up to our expectations girl! Congrats!
Oops! But it doesn’t end there! I want to give special commendation to PsychoticFeral, for her wonderful insights regarding the show and other things. I am therefore giving you an honorary award, the Best Insights Award! (I know it sounds weird, let me come up with a better name later)
Congratulations everyone! As for the others, may they serve as inspirations to continue posting. Who knows, it could be YOU next month! |
