"One of the main safehouses are under attack." He said, frowning as he read the data from a nearby terminal. |

| Jesse was beginning to be more and more suspicious of Marcus, although he couldn't still figure out why. Perhaps it's the way he attracts Lexa's attention away from the group. Or maybe there was something really fishy with the guy. "I think we can discuss how they detected the safehouse later," he said in a flat tone. "It's more important to rescue those new mutants first." Being the knight-in-shining armor again?, he suddenly thought dryly. |

| Jesse cocked his head just enough to glance at the brunette. "Maybe your dear friend Marcus can give us a ride," a tone of jealousy found in his voice. He hated that feeling of being exposed. So he stood up and started walking, attempting to avoid any more discussions. |

| Lexa didnt catch the note of jealousy right away until he was walking away. She furrowed her eyebrows and didnt say anything. Lexa went to go find Marcus, wondering why Jesse would get the green eye. |

| Great, now she's off to see his new prince charming, he thought before he could stop himself. What was going on with him? He shook his head and pretended not to notice her leaving. He needed to sort his mind if he ever wanted to work well with the others, especially Marcus. |
