Clash Between the Titans
Adam Kane received information that a group of mutants which have entered an institution founded by the famous Professor X are connected to a series of recent terrorism in different parts of the country. He sends his team as undercover agents to identify the people behind this and stop them before they could do more damage than they already have. They enter the institution and mingle with other mutants, and at the same time research on who might be the cause of all the destruction going around. Professor X believes that the culprits are from the outside, allies of his worse enemy, but Adam thinks otherwise. Mutant X is now racing against time to pinpoint the outlaws and prevent them from doing the greatest act of terrorism one could think of -- use Professor X to destroying all non-mutants.

Emma stared blankly at Adam as the scientist finished his briefing regarding their next mission. They were to enter an institution founded by a certain Professor X, and investigate on a series of terrorist attacks that had been happening for the past few weeks. Adam had reason to suspect that someone from the institution was leading the attacks, and that’s what the team needs to find out.
“Does Professor X know about our mission?” she asked. “Or is he assuming that we’re just one of his newbies that he needs to train?” |

"But isn't this Professor X supposed to be able to read minds?" Emma inquired. "Or does he just have a powerful mind but not necessarily telepathic powers?"

I need to get more eyeliner later, she told herself, noticing the lack of it under her eyes. she brushed her hair a couple more times, then shook her head wildly so that her hair looked uncombed. Okay, good to go, she said, smiling and heading towards the door. |

Wolfsbane aka Wolf, was curled up on the living room floor, napping lightly. She was alert to all movement so she wasnt really asleep.

"And we're supposed to pretend we're teeenagers? I don't think anyone's gonna buy that one" Shalimar voice her disssaprovement. Being stuck with a bunch of superpwered kids for an undetermined time didn't sound all that well to her. |

Now I know Professor X is very experienced at telepathy and also that Jean Grey is a psionic as well. I could heighten Emma's abilities, but I really dont want to do that unless absolutely necessary." Said Adam, thoughtfully. |

Emma raised an eyebrow. If Adam only knew; then he would have to start worrying about toning down her psychic abilities. She merely shrugged and glanced at her watch. "I think we're running late for our orientation."

"I see the welcome party is all set, huh?" Rogue said smugly as she entered the foyer. She passed by them and headed towards the kitchen. She wasn't really interested in meeting the newbies. It reminded her of her first time in the institution. Not exactly a very happy memory. |
