| Kaylee put the safety back on her gun and started feeling dizzy. She spotted a log that looked sturdy enough and slipped over to perch on it, before she fell over. Her head was aching from where she hit it earlier. She scooted over on the log to where it was against another tree, leaned back and closed her eyes. |

"Sure." Emma smiled and hugged Daniel, slightly sniffly, "Where have you been?" She picked up the dirt-covered carrot and set it aside, quickly peeling and cutting the rest of them. Besides being sore and tired, she was hungry.
She turned around on her rock to face their audience, "Hey, guys, are you going to help?" Everyone was there... except Kaylee. "Lex, where's Kaylee?" |
