| Brennan grabbed Shalimar and got her up, safe from the fissure. He began to close it around Kenneth. The fires of hell were about to recieve someone at this rate. |

After the fourth cup of coffee, Shoshana felt like herself again. She stood up, stretched, wishing she could change forms, but knew she couldn't in this crowd. She made her way to the taxi stand and took the first one empty.
Arriving back at her apartment, she called Adam again. "I'm home now. I guess you guys are busy. I'll be resting until suppertime. I'll call then and see about coming over later. Or leave a message."
She hung up the phone and listened to her messages. She missed her daughter already, but knew she was safe and happy. Rose, her 2nd daughter, was doing good too. The only one she hadn't heard from in a while was the youngest. Definately not ready to take another trip, especially not overseas. She hated her travel sickness, especially in planes. She prefered travel on foot or ground. She shape-shifted to her marsupial cat form and stretched languidly. In spite of the coffee, she was sleepy. Sho squinted at the clock, 2 pm. Much later than she normally stayed up but she couldn't get an overnight flight back from Oklahoma. Taking a running leap, she landed on the bed and made herself a nest in the covers and was soon fast asleep. |

Keira was nearby, watching the time of Mutant X and the other unknown people. "..." Keira summoned a ball of electricity and threw at Kenneth hard and then one at Ariel and Kiandra.
Kenneth yelped in pain as he turned, looking to see who did that. "Who threw that?!?!" He snapped.
"Leave them alone... Or feel more of that!!!!" Keira's voice called out as she looked up seeing Brennan and Shalimar getting away. |

| Lexa didnt know how she did it but she did. A blue and gray forcefield emminated from her body and hit Ariel hard. |

Keira was hit with the ball of water. "Well, that power is out of question so.." She mumbled and her eyes glowed and she ran at Ariel fast, kicking her hard. "Who said I'd be making threats?" She growled lowly and charged at Kenneth.
Kenneth blinked in surprise at the speed of the new appearance only to get knocked down by a punch in the face from the mutant. "That's..it.." He said lowly and fired orbs of water galore at Keira. |

Ariel fell down due to Lexa's forcefield. "What the hell was that?!" she sworeand tried to get up.
Shalimar still watched in horror as the flames were creeping closer to her. |

| Lexa smirked. "That is kicking your ass!" She turned to Shalimar, seeing her frozen with fear. Lexa summoned another forcefield and surrounded the flames so they died out from the lack of oxygen. It was costly to her energy but she'd be fine. |

Ariel got up and formed a powerfull waterball and threw it at Lexa "And that's kicking your ass"
Shalimar shook her head realizing teh flames were gone. She rused to Brennan's side. "You okay?" |

Lexa blocked the water, feeling a few droplets hit her. She made a laser hit Ariel in the left arm, searing the flesh.
"Wet but fine," Brennan said, a little mad that he was dripping wet. |
