I received and read through the e-mail that was sent out regarding activity and what to do to bring members back and am simply following instructions, here. Others are welcome to reply with their own thoughts...
Firstly, I cannot applaud the Operating System Staff, enough! You all did, have done, and are still doing a wonderful job of upkeep for the forum and the grand, new website!
I, shamefully, admit I fall under the category of those who have recently been inactive and temporarily abandoned my obligations as a member. I would rather not to be deleted from my current position, but I really can not be promising anything of my actions, for the immediate future. Time is not really the issue anymore; now, it’s an endless period of writer's block I am suffering from.
I have been trying relentlessly to throw myself back into roleplaying, but, nothing has worked and I have quitted all, except two sites, at the moment (this forum, of course, and one other which is a pet project of mine, which I now use for the sole purpose of online storage and saving homework and other files for when I alternate between school computers and my computers at home). I have rambled and provided excuse, but, again, have gone off-topic.
What can you (the staff) do to increase activity?
Unfortunately, nothing, in my case, unless you guys want to rent me your muses until mine gets back from its apparent hiatus.
[Hehe *nervous chuckle* ]
Honestly, though, in a broader sense, I think you all should keep up what you are doing now. The forum looks great and the site is coming along splendidly, from my point of view. Give the others some time to work through their personal “stuff” and just focus on continuing the job you guys have been doing so well at. If the veteran members don’t respond to the re-vamp (that is the term for it, correct?), then I am sure the new database will draw in some fresh recruits!
Also, before I finish off and leave you all to return to your regularly scheduled lives, I apologize if this isn’t all that helpful. I am working on learning how to give “constructive” criticism, ‘just not all the way there yet. But, at least, you all know how I feel, now!

| Im here as well. As you know I posted the original message that lead to all this. I want to continue with this site. Even if there are only 5 active ppl on it. As long as it moves. We have lots of content that we have to work on and the New RP ideas are great but we cant work on 20 different Rps at the same time. Accorning to Lem, you guys already tryed that and the RPs ended up falling appart and not ending ever. So they are still floating. He also said that a certain event with some previews members didnt help at all but I hope we can all get over that. We have some things to work out but Im willing to work. Oh by the way, Lem/AndyPsionicFeral will also like to be kept on the site and not deleted. Laters. |

Hey Guys, and although most of you newer ppl don't know me, i WAS here once.... *points at post count* So yeah, I would really like not to have my account deleted...i know i haven't posted in...uh...a long while, but i have been busy blah blah you know the drill. BUT i wanted to tell you guys that i have been following along with the RP's and the storys in the Fiction thread. And you are all awesome writters! I LOVE the on-going story that PsiGen is doing and have voted on all of the installments.
As for the question about what could you guys do to get me to come around more.... Not sure. You all are doing great already! So keep up the good work!!! And thanks for all you do!

you all know i want to stay on here! for me i havent been on because BOTH of my computers messed up, and i was indanger of loosing my school account so i had to stop posting from there for a while. i have the computers half working now! lol i think anyways!

Um, Well i went away last summer for about 5 weeks and i guess i never picked back up the habit of coming on here and posting. Oops. But i guess i am mostly back now? We shall see how this spring plays out. I am supposedly graduating this May.... So i am kinda busy with working and school and such. But i shall try and be here more. |

| I think the forum is looking good too. i just think most people have personal stuff to do and there busy doing that. cos i know me and some other people i know have exams. so maybe thats why. |

graduating from homeschool are ya?
i did that! ahd a 3.6 gpa! now i've dropped a few points in college!
yes i am late on the uptake again! more computer problems! this is the first time in a month or two i've been able to get ont his site!
love you all and i promise that i'm going to be spending a lot more time here now that things are getting straightened out! just let me get past finals and things will be great!
