Rose and the Doctor are visiting with Jackie Tyler when Jackie finds an strange medallion which turns out to be anything but... and a decision which will have ultimate consequences....
Will Rose choose to be like the Doctor so she can stay with him? Will Jackie accept the choice she makes? Or is there something more sinister going on underneath at E.S.R.I - Extinct Species Resurrection Institute?

Jackie Tyler was walking back from the supermarket when the familiar engines of the TARDIS hit her ears. Elation warred with worry as it always did when the Doctor came to visit with her daughter Rose Tyler. Elation at seeing Rose again, worry that this one occassion she might not be coming home. Ever.
She hurried towards the flats and caught sight of the familiar blue box. |

Rose was preparing herself mentally. Every time they went back to visit her mum she'd have seen so many new things and to go back to something so ordinary required perparation. She took several deep breaths, muttering to herself.
"What?" She asked suddenly looking up and catching the Doctor watching her. |
