Was it me, or was Season One just bloody fantastic? It was great to see Emma out on an active mission for a change, equally fun was to see the darker version of our favourite empath. The whiskey drinking just had me laughing, and what she did to Adam in the bar was brilliantly done by John Shea. Bet all he had to do was down a couple of shots of tequila to pull that one off!! LOL
Seriously - the writers for this episode really pulled something special out of the hat - Lauren Lee Smith's double performance was dead on the money - and the eventual solution was nicely accomplished. In particular I just loved the way they saved Genomex's butts, and Eckhart HAD to acknowledge that. Brilliant episode. |

Double Vision is one of my most favorite episodes in the show, alongside Lazarus Syndrome and Shock of the New. I just loved the way they showed a side of Emma that was never shown before. Who would have thought that Emma could be split into two eccentric personalities?
I also love many of the conversation pieces and stunts, like when Emma punched Eckart in Genomex and Eckart came tumbling down... I also like this line:
Shal: You're coming with me.
Emma: Like hell I am.
And also the part when Emma tells Eckart that she wants to join his team...
Emma: I want to leave Mutant X... (with a very smug smile)
And the way evil Emm kicked Brennan's face... oh that one's priceless...
I like the conversation between nice Emma and Brennan too, when Brennan was trying to console Emma and he ends up being locked in the lab with Adam... that was funny.
The question that I always ask in relation to this ep is which Emma do you prefer -- the nice, sugar muffin Emma or the evil, red lipstick Emma?
So... which one DO you guys prefer? |

It was funny wasnt it!
Especially the way Eckhart goes:
'I hope you don't think you're going to use your mind tricks on me, Ms DeLauro!'
'Wouldnt dream of it'
WHAM
Go Emma
Another bit of that eppy I loved was when Shalimar knocks Emma out, and Jesse has to carry her and he says:
Newsflash: Half Emma, heavy as whole Emma!
Brilliant |

| Everytime i rewatch an episode of season 1 and then season 3 i keep wondering where did the awsomeness go. I mean besides being funny, season 1 just had a way of pulling you into the story, making you not want to change the channel. Season 2 had the ocasional spark, and season 3 lost it almost compleetly. |

I haven't watched S3 but I must say that S1 is far better off than S2. It's like S2 suddenly lost direction, without having a common enemy to fight. And of course S1 had always had this magic.
And Double Vision is probably one of the best eps ever made in the whole show. |

| For me, I guess i liked both s2, and s3 alot. Mainly because it seemed that they developed the ppl more and more. I know most of the plots stunk, but we got to know each person better because of it. And of corse, The actors kinda grew into their parts better. *Shrugs* Disagree if you like, but 'tis only one girl's opinion. |
