Rose and Jack didn't reply. Instead they pushed the Doctor under.

| The Doctor didnt resurface. In fact he remained down there, and minutes began to tick by. Could the Doctor stay under that long? |

The Doctor looked at the two in the water, wondering how long it would take them to realise he'd swum to shore underwater.
Whilst he was waiting he began the crossword. |

Jack didn't take long to notice, but Rose was still searching under the water. Jack had to grab her when she reasurfaced and point to the Doctor.

The Doctor thought the better of it.
Then he felt a shadow cross over in front of him, and he looked up.
Suddenly he wasnt on the beach anymoe, but standing in front of a raging ocean with great crashing waves falling over him, engulfing him and yet he remained... he was a ship? A ship riding a never ending storm, riding into unseen danger and somehow, somehow he recognised this.
Then he blinked, and was back on the beach in the baking sun. |
