One of the automatons had produced a sryinge at the tip of it's appendage, and whilst his mate hung onto the Time Lord, it gradually bored it down towards the Doctor's neck

The blue button initiated the program the Doctor had set up, and Rose's implant fell silent and dead. She was free.
The Doctor however, was having a slightler more difficult time. The automaton holding his arms, and almost breaking them in the process, was unrelenting - as was the second.
As he felt the syringe dig into the back of his neck he let out a little sigh.
"Here we go again..." He mumbled.
"Mickey get Rose .... ou...." He crumpled, suddenly motionless - a rag doll in the arms of the automaton holding him. |

The automatons made no move to follow the two, now that Rose's implant chip had been deactivated but not removed. Instead they concentrated in surgically reimplanting the missing chip from the Time Lord's neck.
The Doctor didn't feel a thing, as he hadn't the first time, just simply lay on his front as the procedure was carried out |

The procedure was going along smoothly, the patient offering no resistance - and why should he? To be made compatable with his own true soul mate, to lower the barriers that stopped him being with the one he was supposed to be with - what price was that worth?!?
The automatons didn't care of course, they were merely doing what they'd been programmed to do without knowing that different brains react differently. Especially Time Lord brains. |
