When they got a fair bit away from the droids, the Doctor's voice dropped to normal, all traces of the drunkenness gone.
"Right you got Rose away safe?" He asked him urgently. |

Rose could hear music. Beautiful music. It made her want to laugh and cry at the same time. She recognised it from somewhere, but didn't know where. In her mind she followed the music and suddenly everything became light. SHe understood where she remembered it from. It was the music of the TARDIS. The ship was calling out to her, asking her to save her Doctor. Again.
This had happened before, the last time the Doctor regenerated. She had caused it. In her mind she could hear the TARDIS promising that he wouldn't get hurt, and neither would she. With that thought in mind, she stood, opening her eyes and looked at the Doctor.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked, suprised to hear her voice with an ethereal quality. |
