The Doctor weaved and dodged as the automatons came after him with everything they had, completely ignoring Mickey.
But he could see the doors clamping closed just ahead.
"MOVE MICKEY!" He roared and pushed the human forward. |

The Doctor was at the door, when one of the automatons fired - the electrical charge coursing through his body, not enough to kill, but enough to bring the Time Lord down. He shared one fleeting knowing glance at Mickey, then the door clanged shut between them

The time lord turned to face his pursuers.
"Ah well, worth a try wasnt it?" He smiled, winningly.
The automatons were NOT impressed.
He only hoped Mickey had remembered what he'd told him to do, and that Rose would let him do it. |
