The scans proved there was no long lasting physical trauma. But there was obviously some underlying mental trauma that might need to be talked out, if the Doctor let his human companions in.
Right now, he simply slept - dreamlessly. |

Four hours passed, then six, before the Time Lord began to stir.
His head still felt heavy, and his mind was all unfocused and felt like he'd been turned into a cotton wool bud or something.
Somehow he levered his eyes open.

Where's Jack, wasn't he here a moment ago, I remember hearing him, we haven't lost Jack have we Rose?" He barrelled off, all the while moving closer to the wall behind him. |

"If we're safe, why're you crying." He tried to move and almost cried out at the sudden pain that came at him.
He sank back down, obviously still coming to terms with what had happened and what was currently happening. |
