We all lose people we love. That doesn't make it right or easier to bear when the time comes.
Often we feel it's not fair, or that it wasn't time - that we've lost something dear to us that will never come again.

Physically thats true, but those we love remain in our hearts and our memories and in our children's memories - they never truly leave us. Indeed, they live on in us - in everything we achieve, in everything we dream of one day achieving.

For anyone who has lost someone close I say this:

Honor those who have departed these shores
Live your life well, aspire to the goodness they left in their wake
When the time comes, and the boat comes for you
Be assured, a friendly face will be at it's helm.
