Into The Moonless Night
Dear Journal,
Emma is dead, Adam MIA and I have to hold it together. Why me? Why can't Jesse take over things - but no. The poor kid looks like he's in total shock, both from what happened at Naxcon and the events leading up for it. Who would have thought Adam would keep something like this from us.
He had his secrets, and I totally disagreed with some of his decisions, especially during that Christina crap - he could have been killed. And now, now it looks like theres a good chance his secrets have done exactly that. Gotten him killed.
But if Adam is dead, then I have to make a tough decision. Keep Mutant X going, or go my seperate way?
When I first joined Mutant X, I never thought I'd stay for very long. I didnt think I was the kinda of person with the qualities necessary to be a hero. And although, I'd cheerfully strangle Adam when I see him next, I still hope to see him. For all his secrets, I still trust the leader he was. I have to, otherwise ..... where do we go from here? |

Shock of the New
Emma.
She looked so helpless when I first saw her, like a child lost in a huge crowd. When we locked eyes I saw into her mind, and instantly I knew I have to protect her no matter what it takes.
That's why I was glad she came back for me. Otherwise I wouldn't know where to find her.
She warned me through her mind about the danger Thorne brings, and we could have escaped the GSA had we not stopped to look if I had killed Thorne. But we did go back and so I was caught and brought into this weird place where I saw several people sleeping in stasis... or whatever they call that.
And I suddenly felt dread fill my body -- dread I have never felt before. But at the same time I felt relieved that Emma wasn't caught with me. It would have pained me to see her in so much fear.
I will escape Genomex. Then I'll find her again, no matter what it takes. |
