Okay we've been gone a fair bit havent we, and we're sorry
Interest seemed to taper off, and nobody seemed that interested in keeping the fandom going
Ana and I have discussed this in length and so with heavy hearts and admist much groaning.. we've decided to make a massive comeback in January with a multi sci fi fandom based website and forum
If it's scifi, we want it.
We'd also like your ideas, feedback and comments on all of this.
01 January 2007 is when it all changes. Will you be ready?
Fandoms already included are: Doctor Who, Mutant X, X-Men, Lost and Battlestar Galactica.
Remember January 1st.

Sorry I don't think that's a good idea.
This forum is nearly dead anyway. It's a Mutant X forum, not Doctor Who. There's a better card in the deck for Doctor Who forums/websites thank you very much.
You cannot revive this forum by doing other things. You simply can't! It's comatose, and it will go only downhill. |

Sure we can. Its call expansion.
We'll still have Mutant X, but I dont see why we cant go ahead and do something more... expansive!
After all.. its a bit universe out there.

FireFeral my dear so far we have someone covering Lost, someone covering Doctor Who, someone covering Torchwood and someone covering Mutant X as well as someone doing some work for Xmen.
Oh and someones put their hands up to the new series Heroes as well.
So you can either join in one of those teams, or start a new scifi team. But its got to be cult or well travelled. None of the obscure stuff nobody's heard of please!
Now that doesnt sound like a squeak in the dark does it? |

I was thinking Dark Angel, Wonderfalls, FireFly, John Doe, or Dead Like Me.
The thing is I tend to like those weird little obscure shows that nobody knows about. 
Actually Nikki, I think having a few sections taken up by those small obscure shows (that don't have a whole lot of fan sites) tossed in with the larger, more popular shows would generate some traffic.  I don't know, just an idea. |

| Go for Firefly, that's definitely cult. And we plan on getting really big (hopefully). But we want to attract large fandoms at first so that we'll have people come back. |

I love the new look and banner! I suppose I could take on Doctor Who. I used to be a fan & still am. Though I have not seen any of the new Who. Anyone interested in Star Trek: Next Generation or even the movie, Nemesis?

| I'm thinking Trek is quite a big challenge for the start. As for the banner it's supposed to be bigger that that, but i'm working on a new & dark skin. Sorry i've not been around much but i sat my CPE test today. |

Well Sorry i havent posted in a while but i think everyone knows why i havent.
But anyway back now lol.
You know this board may be about Mutant X but it can expand where exactly did it say it was direstly to do with Mutant X anyway. (Thats to Not Interested and Yeah right) There way of talking seems very familar to some people i know.
I Love Mutant X and yeah i wish so much that the show was still on and that they would finish of the series with a satisfying ending but that isnt the case is it. Mutant X is over the shows not comming back but it will always be on somewhere (dvds, re-runs etc).
But As long as the board is still here i say long live the board, theres no point in deleting a great board, with good people on it. If you dont like the board then why are you posting on it? Why are you visiting it? I say if you dont like it then leave dont come on.
But Anyway thats my little well i guess talk lol.
Well I cant wait for the board to be back open. You could add shows Like Charmed. Well i can think of a LONG list anyway lol. The board lay out looks great too so's the skin very good choices lol:P.
So please if you need help moderating a forum or help or ideas or anything please feel free to ask me lol. And If you want to ask me anything at all you can lol. |

The logic eludes me. If I want to discuss a specific show other than Mutant X, the first (& second & third & forty-third) place I look is not a Mutant X forum. Perhaps you need a unique focus on all these other series, offering something not found elsewhere.
Back in Ye Olden Days, long ago, when a computer meant a mainframe, something that might take a whole climate-controlled room or a whole floor of a building, any CRT display screen used white on black displays. It was hard on the eyes. So is this. Readability matters.  If I have to highlight posts in order to read them easily, I'm apt to not bother. |

College was way harder than i though it would be. now there are some shows that were added to the banner, which by the way looks awesome, that im interested in so keep me posted. sorry its been so long since i came to the site. i lost track of everything online. lost track of ppl and my other email account where i had everything relating to this site got jacked into and stolen by some weird virus so.... yeah. sad but true. anyway, im here now. so let me know whats going on. laters, Luke.
